Internal breast lift

Thanks to the internal breast lift method developed by Dr. Constantin Stan, a large number of patients who were previously qualified for the classic combined breast augmentation surgery with implants and breast lift obtained a nice and firm shape with only one small scar hidden in the inframammary fold.

Lifting using implants solves the problem of sagging and uneven breasts, drooping nipples and stretched areola (the darker area around the nipples), restoring their youthful shape, size and lifting them.

This method focuses on changing the position and shape of the breasts, and not only on improving the volume that is obtained using implants or your own fat tissue, when inserting implants alone is not sufficient.

This method involves separating the gland from the muscle and placing sutures in the appropriate place, between the mammary gland and the pectoralis major muscle, with access through a small incision in the subpectoral fold, which is needed to insert the implant.

In other words, it is a change in the relationship of the mammary gland to the muscle. In some cases, additional scarring may appear around the areola. This is advisable when the patient has large breast areolas, but you should not worry about it. The scar around the areola, just like the scar in the fold, is very little visible because it is located on the border between two skin colors. In this way, we avoid the most unacceptable vertical scar, between the areola and the inframammary fold, as with a classic facelift.

An internal lift may be beneficial if the patient has sagging breasts to some extent. In other cases, an effective method is a classic breast lift.

This treatment improves the shape, projection and symmetry of the breasts. It restores their firm appearance. In addition, it can create a more balanced silhouette and a more youthful appearance.

If the lift is performed correctly, the breasts should not return to their preoperative appearance for decades. However, in order for patients to enjoy them for a long time, they should be careful about weight fluctuations. Pregnancy may also affect their shape. In this case, some settling may occur, but the new position of the nipple should remain intact.

To sum up, we are not always forced to use the classic method in the case of combined breast enlargement and lift surgery. During the consultation, after a thorough examination of the degree of breast laxity, breast size and the level of the areola in relation to the breast fold, the patient is qualified for an appropriate, effective surgical method that ensures long-lasting results and a nice breast shape.
