Lip Lift

Lip Lift is a facial plastic surgery procedure that involves removing a narrow strip of skin under the nose to shorten the distance between the nose and the upper lip. This treatment allows you to reveal more of the lip red, giving your lips a more youthful and attractive appearance.

Dr. Rami Alshekh offers two variants of the Lip Lift treatment, which differ in the location and shape of the incision:

Direct Lip Lift

With Direct Lip Lift, the incision is made directly under the nose. This method allows for more precise control over the shape of the lips. The scar is placed directly under the nose, in a natural fold of skin.

Lip Lift (Bullhorn)

The classic Lip Lift (Bullhorn) is characterized by a "bull horn"-shaped incision that is more spread out. This method may be less visible, but it offers slightly different control over the shape of your lips.

How does the procedure work?

The Lip Lift treatment is performed under local anesthesia. Dr. Rami Alshekh makes a precise incision under the nose (depending on the selected variant - Direct or Bullhorn), removes a narrow strip of skin, and then sutures the edges, thus shortening the distance between the nose and the upper lip.

The scar after the procedure is placed in the natural fold of skin under the nose. Over time, the scar becomes less and less visible and may be virtually invisible once fully healed (usually after 6-12 months). Dr. Rami Alshekh uses precise suturing techniques to minimize the visibility of the scar.
